In full regalia the Navajo join with other tribes from around the nation to perform for your pleasure the traditional dances of their ancestors. Passed down from generation to generation, we invite you to listen to the beat of the earthly drum and learn the sacred meaning of the dances. Come join us and dance with the Indians.

The Navajo people take great pride in their handcrafted art. Navajo Rugs tell stories, teach lessons and are a symbol of the beauty that surrounds our home. When you visit the Navajo Village Heritage Center, you will learn about the meticulous process our people use to create these beautiful rugs. Visit the Navajo Rugs section of our website to see many of the handwoven rugs our people have listed for sale.

This is the Navajo word for our traditional homes. There are two basic shapes made from juniper wood and mud, providing natural insulation to the occupants. You will learn how they are built and some of the traditions and taboos of our culture while sitting inside the round hoghan.

We offer you the chance to share the peace of the Navajo culture with us and to learn of the ancient spirit and the sacred ceremonies still practiced today. Here at the Navajo Village we are committed to the teachings of the Navajo and invite one and all to come and listen and participate in the sacred way of life. We open our doors and our hearts to all.
